WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Hamas Political Bureau member Husam Badran said that the escalating assaults in the West Bank show that settler attacks have turned into an “open war” targeting the existence of the Palestinian people on their land and imposing a dangerous reality, calling for urgent national action.
In a statement issued on Monday, Badran praised Palestinians in the targeted areas, commending the courage of young people and community groups confronting settler attacks and defending villages and property. He said these efforts represent the first line of defense for land and dignity.
He stressed that the current phase requires strengthening national committees and local protection groups across villages and towns to confront the attacks and raise community readiness against “organized terrorism” backed by the Israeli government.
Badran also called for unifying efforts among all factions and grassroots groups and for providing support and assistance to residents in the affected areas.
