NABLUS (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A Palestinian young man was pronounced dead on Saturday morning after he succumbed to a serious bullet injury he had sustained a few months ago when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at him in eastern Nablus, north of the West Bank.
According to local sources, Ahmed Nasasera, a 32-year-old from Beit Furik town in Nablus, died at the Specialized Arab Hospital in Nablus City 85 days after being shot by Israeli forces.
Nasasera was reportedly shot in his back during skirmishes between local youths and Israeli forces in Beit Furik town in early February. At the time, soldiers tied him to a tree despite his injury.
He is the second martyr in Nablus within the past 24 hours. Yesterday afternoon, 17-year-old Abdul-Khaleq Jabour was killed by IOF gunfire in Salem town, east of Nablus.
