Islamabad ( Palestine Information Center) On the occasion of International Al-Quds Day, an Al-Quds Conference organized by Palestine Foundation Pakistan (PLF) titled “Defense of Palestine is Defense of Pakistan” was held at a local hotel in Islamabad on Friday.

Senator Talha Mehmood said that the Western governments that established Israel as an illegal occupation in Palestine and the European countries including the United States, Great Britain and France are equal participants in Israeli crimes. He said that the illegitimate state of Israel was forcibly established in the land of Palestine to maintain the modern colonial system in Asian and African countries.

In his address, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Ali Muhammad Khan said that a fair solution to the Palestine issue is inevitable. Islam teaches peace and security. We are telling the world that we are not anti-Semitic, but consider Israel an usurper and illegitimate. A peaceful solution to the Palestinian issue is possible only with the return of the Palestinians to Palestine. He said that the current government’s silence on Israeli atrocities is beyond comprehension, get out of slavery and raise your voice against Israel, the policy of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is our policy, we cannot deviate from it. He said we believed in the Jinnah’s policy that Israel is an illegitimate state.

Addressing the participants, Allama Nasir Abbas Jafari said that Pakistan’s policy on Israel is unambiguous and clear, the current government should strongly condemn Israel’s recent aggression on Palestine. Like every year in Ramadan, this year too, Israel’s attacks on the sanctity of Palestine and Jerusalem are the result of their defeat and cowardice.

Jamaat-e-Islami leader Kashif Chaudhry said that establishing ties and ceremonies with Israel means sacrificing one’s ideology, which is not acceptable in any case.

Secretary General Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam thanked the participants and said that it is our duty to raise our voice against the illegitimate state of Israel and the freedom of Palestine by following our religious and national duty.
