WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Hamas Movement called for keeping the compass of confrontation and fighting towards the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in defense of the Palestinian people, land and sanctities from IOF and settlers’ attacks.
In a statement on Friday, the Movement said, “after a month of the start of the condemned and rejected Palestinian Authority’s (PA) security campaign, we renew our call for exerting serious efforts to practice all forms of pressure on the PA, by our people, factions and human rights groups, to stop these practices which run contrary to our norms and national values.”
“On the 30th day of the ongoing PA security campaign against our people and resistance in Jenin, we confirm that this campaign is a complete crime of besieging, arresting, torturing, abusing, and intentionally killing our people, the last of which was the crime of executing in cold blood a father and his son as they were on the rooftop of their house in Jenin refugee camp,” the statement added.
Hamas mourned the martyrs who have been killed at the hands of the PA security forces since the beginning of its campaign and siege on Jenin, stressing that these practices only serve the IOF and its malicious plans to terminate the resistance in the West Bank and implement Israeli plans of displacement and annexation.
The PA security services have been laying out a hermetic siege on the Jenin camp for a month, targeting citizens and killing eight people, including several children and journalists.
