Yemen’s armed forces target multiple Israeli sites, one container ship

SANA’A, (The Palestinian Information Center) Yemen’s armed forces said Tuesday it launched multiple attacks on targets in Israel, including the Israeli occupation army’s general staff headquarters in Tel Aviv and Ben Gurion airport.

In a statement aired on Yemen’s al-Masirah satellite channel, military spokesman Yehya Sariee said that “a Sammad-4 drone targeted the Israeli army’s general staff building” in Tel Aviv.

He added that other drones targeted a power station in Hadera City, Ben Gurion Airport, and the Port of Ashdod.

Sariee also said that the armed forces launched two drones and a cruise missile at the container ship MSC Aby in the northern Red Sea, accusing the vessel of maintaining trade links with Israeli ports.

The spokesman affirmed that these counterattacks on the Israeli occupation state were in response to the ongoing crimes of genocide and starvation in the Gaza Strip and in support for the Palestinian people and their resistance.

These fresh attacks came a day after Yemen’s armed forces took responsibility for a missile attack near the Scarlet Ray oil tanker in the northern Red Sea.

The escalation follows an Israeli airstrike last Thursday in the Yemen capital Sana’a that killed the Yemeni premier Ahmed al-Rahawi along with other ministers and officials.
