SANA’A (Palestine Foundation Information Center)Yemen’s armed forces announced a successful military operation targeting Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport, located in Tel Aviv, on May 13.
The operation was carried out with a hypersonic ballistic missile, which hit its target, causing widespread panic among Israelis and leading to a temporary halt in airport operations, according to military spokesman Yehya Sariee.
Spokesman Sariee said the renewed missile counterattack reasserted that Yemen’s armed forces would continue to ban air traffic at Be Gurion Airport in response to the ongoing Israeli massacres against the Palestinian people.
“The great Yemeni people will never forsake the Palestinian people, who have been facing genocide and ethnic cleansing for more than a year with no action from the Arab and international communities,” the spokesman added.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army said it intercepted a missile that was launched from Yemen towards Israel on Tuesday evening.
The missile prompted sirens in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Rishon LeZion, Herzliya and Lod, and other areas, according to the Hebrew media. Two Israelis were reportedly injured while running for shelter.
