QALQILYA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Baraa Bilal Qabalan, 21, on Monday succumbed to wounds he sustained yesterday from Israeli gunfire east of Qalqilya. His body remains withheld, according to the General Authority of Civil Affairs.
Local sources reported that Israeli forces opened fire Sunday evening on a Palestinian civilian vehicle west of Azzun village, coinciding with the entry of Israeli military reinforcements into the town.
Later, the General Authority of Civil Affairs informed the Ministry of Health and the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs of the death of Mo’men Abu Riyash, 19, a resident of Qalqilya, whose body was also withheld.
It further reported that Baraa was critically injured by Israeli gunfire, and that Mohammad Saeed Hussein was arrested between the towns of Azzun and Izbat al-Tabib in Qalqilya governorate.
