WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A horde of Jewish extremists carried out, under military protection, multiple attacks and violations on Sunday evening, targeting Palestinian citizens and their property in the central and northern occupied West Bank.
According to local sources, armed settlers assaulted several Palestinian citizens in the village of Einabus, south of Nablus, in the northern West Bank.
The Einabus village council said that settlers guarded by soldiers stormed al-Khilla area of the village and beat a number of local residents, including the council chief, while firing live ammunition and tear gas.
The council added that Israeli soldiers detained sanitation workers as they were working on collecting waste in the village.
In a separate incident, another group of extremist settlers set fire to agricultural structures near al-Mughayyir village in the northeast of Ramallah.
Chief of the village council Amin Abu Alya said that settlers stormed, on Sunday evening, the Sahel Siee area near the village and set alight agricultural rooms belonging to Palestinian farmers from nearby towns.
On Saturday night, settlers assaulted a Palestinian farmer near Farkha village in southern Salfit.
As global attention focused on the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, settler attacks as well as deadly and violent raids by Israeli forces have intensified in the occupied West Bank.
