23 Palestinians detained in large-scale Israeli raid campaign

WEST BANK, (The Palestine Information Centre) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a massive raid and arrest campaign across the West Bank at dawn Thursday.

In al-Khalil, the IOF violently stormed Beit Ummar town and detained 12 Palestinians, including children.

Violent raids into several local homes were also carried out in the town, which led to the outbreak of clashes.

Two young men were injured by rubber bullets in their feet during the confrontations.

The IOF also rounded up four youths in Qalqilya and two others in Nablus, including a university student.

Five more Palestinians were detained in Jenin, including an ex-prisoner and a leader in the Jihad Movement.
