BEIRUT (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Three people were injured on Thursday morning in an Israeli airstrike on a vehicle in the border town of Markaba in southern Lebanon, in violation of the ceasefire.
Lebanese media reported that the strike targeted a vehicle in Markaba as Lebanese individuals in it were attempting to return to their homes.
Israeli army radio stated that an air force drone struck a vehicle in Markaba to prevent it from entering a restricted area.
Earlier today, in violation of the ceasefire, the occupying army announced that it prohibits residents of Lebanon from moving south to the line extending along the following villages and their surroundings, including within the villages themselves: Shebaa, Al-Habbariyeh, Marjayoun, Arnoun, Yahrun, Al-Qantara, Shuqra, Barashit, Yater, and Al-Mansouri.
They said that all those moving south of this line are putting themselves in danger.
The ceasefire between Hezbollah and Israel came into effect early Wednesday morning after more than two months of bloody conflict and over 13 months of border clashes.
