NAZARETH (Palestine Foundation Information Center) An Israeli soldier was killed and two others injured on Wednesday in a stabbing attack that took place in Karmiel city in the Upper Galilee, northern Occupied Palestine before the Palestinian attacker was shot dead.
The Hebrew radio quoted a paramedic as saying that two of the wounded were soldiers in the Israeli occupation army, and one of them was in serious condition, whose death was quickly announced.
The Hebrew Channel 11 confirmed that a soldier was killed after being fatally injured in the stabbing attack in Karmiel in the Galilee.
Israeli Channel 14 reported that the stabbing occurred on the second floor of a mall in Karmiel city.
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) announced that information had been received about a stabbing incident carried out by a suspect in the city of Karmiel, during which two men were seriously and slightly injured.
The IOF added that “the perpetrator was neutralized” by the IOF which was heavily deployed on the incident’s site.
The Israeli website Hadashot Bazman reported that the attacker was from Deir al-Assad in Upper Galilee.
Meanwhile, the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine blessed the heroic resistance operation, stressing that resistance is the only option left for Palestinians in the face of the Israeli genocide war and brutal crimes against humanity.
In June, 3 Jewish settlers were killed, and 25 soldiers and settlers were injured in 356 resistance operations.
