Pakistani poets mark 68 Nakba Day anniversary as “Palestine is the homeland of Palestinians”

(PNIC) – A grand Congregation of poets in solidarity with oppressed people of Palestine to marking 68 NakbaDay anniversary as “Palestine is the homeland of Palestinians” held at Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi on 12 May, Thursday.

A grand poetry event was organized by Palestine Foundation Pakistan to observe 68 NakbaDay anniversary of Palestine as under ongoing week-long campaign “Palestine is the homeland of Palestinians”.

Mr Senator Abdul Qayyoum Soomro (Advisor to former president of Pakistan Mr Asif Ali Zardari and Advisor to religious affairs for Chief Minister Sindh) was the guest of honour.

Mr Muzaffar Ahmed Hashmi, Mr Mahfooz Yar Khan, Pirzada Azher Hamdani, Syed Shabbar Raza, Molana Hashim Moosvi, Dr Alia Imam, dr Haroon Rasheed, Molana Sadiq Taqvi, Sabir Abo Maryam of Secretary General of Palestine Foundation and other political and religious dignities including human rights defenders activists of cities also were present.

Among the famous poets Mr Firasat Rizvi, Enayat Ali Khan, Sohail Ahmed, Mrs Nasem Nazish, Mrs Sabiha Saba, Sagheer Ahmed, A.H.Khanzada, Ajmal Siraj, Rashid Noor, Irtaza Johnpuri, Jafar Askari, Ghulam Mustafa, Mrs Hameeda Kashish,Touqeer Taqi and others presented their special verses on issue of #Palestine in connection of 68 #NakbaDay anniversary of oppressed people of Palestine
