GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Marking the first anniversary of his martyrdom, spokesman for al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas Abu Obeida commemorated his predecessor, Hudhayfa al-Kahlout, also known as “Abu Obeida,” praising his media legacy.
In a statement marking the occasion, Abu Obeida said that al‑Kahlut was “the spokesman of the Ummah and an icon of resistance.”
“He was the first spokesman of al‑Qassam Brigades, with the echo of his words still resonating and his keffiyeh (headscarf) remaining a symbol of resistance among supporters worldwide,” Abu Obeida added.
“May Allah have mercy on my brother Hudhayfa. He was a master of his craft, blessed with wisdom and foresight. His physical presence may be gone, but his legacy remains eternal,” Abu Obeida highlighted.
“Al-Kahlut’s martyrdom does not mark the end of his path. His comrades will keep the banner high and will continue down this road until victory and liberation are achieved, Inshallah,” the spokesman added.
