GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Wounded Palestinian detainees in Negev jail face persistent pains due to the lack of painkillers, according to the Asra Media Office (AMO), which urged immediate action to provide them with medication and medical care before winter intensifies their distress.
“Wounded prisoners are demanding access to essential medical care as they continue to suffer from persistent pain and medical neglect,” AMO said on Thursday, stressing the urgent need to meet their demands.
The AMO stressed that withholding medical treatment from wounded prisoners violates healthcare protections guaranteed under the Fourth Geneva Convention.
