Occupied Jerusalem – Dozens of Israeli colonial settlers, led by far-right Israeli MK Itamar Ben-Gvir, stormed on Sunday morning Jerusalem’s Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
Local sources said the colonial settlers broke into the western part of the Sheikh Jarrah.
They also provoked and threatened the neighborhood’s residents.
Moreover, Ben Gvir went to the makeshift office which he had set up in February in the front yard of the house of the Jerusalemite family of Salem.
The occupation police didn’t prevent Ben Gvir from storming the neighborhood along with the settlers.
However, they provided protection for the settlers and Ben Gvir.
They also kept the residents and supporters away from the yard of the Salem family.
On Wednesday, Ben Gvir also returned to the neighborhood and went to the makeshift office.
Sheikh Jarrah has been cited as one of the most issues that sparked attention and condemnation around the world.
