BEIRUT, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation army attacked targets in Beirut’s southern suburbs on Sunday, killing at least three people and injuring others.
Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) said one strike hit an apartment in the Ghobeiry neighborhood of Beirut’s southern suburbs.
Media footage showed plumes of smoke and dust rising near a heavily damaged apartment building, where debris littered the street and frantic residents searched for survivors amid scenes of widespread panic.
Lebanon’s civil defense agency reported three people dead and at least seven others wounded.
The office of Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement that his army had just carried out strikes in the Dahiya district of Beirut against targets belonging to Hezbollah.
Additionally, two people were martyred and three others were injured on Sunday in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting several areas in southern Lebanon.
