TULKAREM, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Israeli occupation authorities issued demolition notices on Friday for a residential building and three inhabited homes in the village of Kafr Sur, south of Tulkarem in the northern West Bank.
Fawaz Hamza, head of the Kafr Sur village council, said the notices targeted residential structures located in areas classified as Area B.
Hamza said more than 80 Palestinians live in the homes threatened with demolition and now face the risk of displacement.
Israeli authorities have intensified their targeting of Palestinian homes and structures across the West Bank by issuing demolition and stop-work notices under the pretext of lacking permits, in an attempt to pressure residents and impose a new demographic reality.
Demolitions and demolition notices in the Jordan Valley have also coincided with an escalation targeting the local agricultural sector, in addition to harassing shepherds and farmers, and pushing them to leave their land.
The Settlement and Wall Resistance Commission documented 2,256 attacks by Israeli occupation forces and settlers in July, reflecting a daily organized policy targeting the Palestinian presence.
The Commission said Israeli forces carried out 80 demolitions in July, targeting 165 structures, including 88 homes, and issued 34 additional demolition notices.
It also documented 11,074 attacks by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank during the first half of 2026, reflecting the expanding scale of organized violence against Palestinians.
