WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) carried out several demolitions in the West Bank and Jerusalem on Monday.
The demolition campaign targeted homes and different structures under the pretext of building without permits.
In the village of al-Minya, southeast of Bethlehem, Israeli forces demolished an agricultural room belonging to the family of Dharwa in the al-Makab area, according to head of the village council Zayed Kawazbeh.
The area has been seeing growing attacks by Israeli forces and settlers for months, including destruction of tents and agricultural structures, assaults on shepherds, and livestock thefts.
In Jerusalem, Israeli bulldozers began demolishing several Palestinian homes and structures in the town of Kafr Aqab and around Qalandia refugee camp this morning, under the pretext of reinforcing Israeli control along the separation wall.
Local sources said that Israeli police forces stormed buildings and forced families to leave them, with heavy deployment of soldiers and snipers. Tear gas canisters stun grenades, live ammunition, and rubber bullets were used during the operation.
The sources added that Israeli soldiers issued fines to a large number of Palestinian vehicles and deliberately damaged others in the town and near Qalandia camp.
