WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), An extremist Jewish settler was severely wounded in a stabbing operation at an illegal outpost in the occupied West Bank on Monday morning.
According to the Hebrew media, a Palestinian young man came in a vehicle to the Maoz Yehuda outpost, near the village of Osarin, and stabbed a settler before fleeing.
The Israeli occupation army said it sent special forces and aircraft to search for the young man, while soldiers blocked roads and entrances.
Later, Israeli forces reportedly arrested a 16-year-old Palestinian in the West Bank after an hours-long manhunt.
The stabbing incident comes amid a sharp rise in Israeli military violations and settler violence in the occupied West Bank.
