The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has reportedly named Palestinian international referee Heba Sa’adia to participate in the Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand in 2023.
Wafa reported on Saturday that Sa’adia has been named by FIFA to participate in refereeing matches in the FIFA Women’s World Cup from July 20 to August 20, 2023.
This is the first time a Palestinian referee will participate in refereeing matches in the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
This is the ninth Women’s World Cup in history and will be the biggest yet with 32 teams competing across 64 games.
