GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Five Palestinian civilians were martyred and others were injured, including the son of a top Hamas leader, in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday evening.
According to media sources, an Israeli airstrike in Gaza City’s al-Daraj neighborhood claimed the life of one citizen and injured several others, among them Azzam al-Hayya, the son of Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya.
Three other civilians were also killed and others were wounded in an Israeli drone strike in Gaza City’s az-Zeitoun neighborhood, according to medical sources at Al-Ahli Arab Hospital.
A drone also bombed a civilian car in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, south of Gaza, killing one and injuring others.
Last night, Israeli artillery shelled the eastern areas of al-Maghazi refugee camp, while gunboats opened machinegun fire towards the shores of Gaza City.
