BEIRUT, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Five people were martyred and others were wounded on Tuesday in heavy Israeli airstrikes targeting the town of Mashghara in the Beqaa Valley of Lebanon.
Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that Israeli warplanes carried out eight consecutive raids on Mashghara, killing five people and injuring several others.
Israeli airstrikes also targeted other areas in southern Lebanon, including the city of Nabatieh and the towns of Kafr Rumman, Arabsalim, Shehour, Yater, Hadatha, and Jabel al-Batm, alongside artillery shelling that targeted the towns of Srifa and Burj Qalaouiyah.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army issued urgent warnings to residents of several villages in Nabatieh, the south, and Beqaa, ordering them to evacuate their homes and move away, which triggered new waves of displacement, particularly from areas surrounding the southern suburbs of Beirut.
