RAMALLAH, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Five young Palestinians were injured early on Friday after Jewish settlers attacked their vehicle with stones near the entrance of the village of Yabrud, east of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.
Local sources said a group of settlers threw stones at the vehicle near the entrance known as the “Yabrud Bridge,” causing the driver to lose control and the vehicle to overturn. The five Palestinians sustained minor injuries.
The attack comes amid escalating Israeli settler violence across the occupied West Bank, targeting Palestinians, their vehicles, homes and land, alongside Israeli military raids.
According to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, Jewish settlers carried out 628 attacks in August, part of a total of 2,030 attacks by Israeli forces and settlers against Palestinians, their land and property across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem that month.
Settler attacks have continued across several West Bank governorates in September, including physical assaults, attacks on vehicles, raids on Palestinian homes and land, shootings and intimidation of residents.
