Freedom of Quds through Unity: Israeli ambitions will be crushed. Al-Quds Conference Karachi

On the occasion of International Quds Day, an Al-Quds Conference organized by Palestine Foundation Pakistan titled “Defense of Palestine is Defense of Pakistan” was held in Karachi on Friday at a local hotel. The Chief Guest of Al-Quds Conference was the leader of Pakistan Peoples Party and Provincial Law Minister Barrister Murtaza Wahab, while the leaders of all political and religious parties including Palestine Foundation Pakistan Secretary General Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam, senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Firdous Shamim, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Senator Nihal Hashmi, Milli Yakjehti Council Sindh President Asadullah Bhutto, Jamaat-e-Islami Deputy Amir Dr. Miraj Ul Huda Siddiqui, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan former members of Sindh Assembly Mahfooz Yar Khan, Major (R) Qamar Abbas, Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Sindh President Allama Baqir Zaidi, Leader of Jamiat Ulema Pakistan Allama Aqeel Anjum, Leader of Awami National Party Younis Boniri, Leader of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Saqib Nowshahi, well-known religious leader Mufti Firozuddin Rahmani, Leader of Shia Ulema Council Allama Nazer Taqvi, Former Advisor to Government of Pakistan Dr. Alia Imam and others addressed. Dr. Ali Wasif hosted the conference.

Speaking at the Al-Quds conference, the chief guest Barrister Murtaza Wahab said that we are all united for the freedom of Al-Quds. Israeli ambitions will be crushed. He said that Pakistan People’s Party is following the Palestinian position and policy of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and fully supports the cause of Palestine. He said that the occupying Israeli forces are continuously committing atrocities in Palestine. He said that the government and the people are against the occupation of Palestine.

Speaking at the Quds Conference, Secretary General of Palestine Foundation Pakistan, Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam, said that the Western governments, which established Israel as an illegitimate ruler in Palestine, including the United States, Great Britain and France, are equal participants in Israeli crimes. He said that the illegitimate state of Israel was forcibly established in the land of Palestine to maintain the modern colonial system in Asian and African countries.

He said that the issue of Palestine and Kashmir today is a dagger of tyranny in the back of the Islamic world. The solution of the Palestine can be possible through the unity of the Islamic world. He said that Pakistan and the leaders of Pakistan including Quaid-e-Azam, Allama Iqbal, Liaquat Ali Khan and later rulers General (R) Ayub Khan, former Prime Minister Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and others always supported the cause of Palestine on the issue of Palestine.

He further said that today elements are gradually emerging who are making efforts to support Israel in Pakistan, sometimes a delegation of the official TV channel and a former official of PCB visit Israel. Sometimes journalists are made to go on a pilgrimage to Israel, sometimes under the guise of inter-faith harmony, relations with the usurper Israel come to light, and sometimes the flag of Israel and India is hoisted in a school in Karachi.

Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam said that a person who pretends to be a Pakistani citizen under the guise of Judaism leaves the trade between Israel and Pakistan, travels to Israel on a Pakistani passport and insults the constitution of Pakistan. He said that Crushing these conspiracies is the first responsibility of the entire Pakistani nation and this is the requirement of loyalty to the constitution. The participants of the conference strongly condemned the silence of the United Nations and international organizations on the desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Addressing the conference, Asadullah Bhutto said that Al-Quds Day is the day of support for the oppressed Palestinian people and the day of liberation of the first Qibla. The whole nation will celebrate Yum Al-Quds on 23^rd Ramzan.

Speaking at the conference, Firdous Shamim Naqvi said that a fair solution to the Palestine issue is inevitable. Islam teaches peace and security. We are telling the world that we are not anti-Semitic, but consider Israel an usurper and illegitimate. A peaceful solution to the Palestinian issue is possible only with the return of the Palestinians to Palestine. He said that Imam Khomeini announced to celebrate Al-Quds Day to implement unity in the Islamic world and today Muslim nations around the world are actively working for the liberation of Al-Quds with mutual unity. He appealed to the people to participate in the gatherings of the World Al-Quds Day on 23rd of Ramadan.

Addressing the conference, Deputy Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr. Meraj Al-Hadi Siddiqui, said that 23rd of Ramadan will be celebrated as International Al-Quds Day in Pakistan like the rest of the world. He said that with the advent of Ramadan, where the Ummah is attracted towards the Holy Quran and fasting and prayer, at the same time, it has been celebrating Al-Quds Day for the past forty years and expressing solidarity with the people of Palestine, for which the credit goes to Imam Khomeini. He said that those who lobbied for Israel in Pakistan should be severely punished. He also appreciated the efforts of Palestine Foundation Pakistan.

Speaking at Al-Quds Conference, Senator Nihal Hashmi said that raising voice for Palestine is not only duty for Sabir Abu Maryam and Mahfouz Yar Khan, but for the entire Muslim Ummah, but most of all for the OIC, which if they respond sincerely, Israel can be uprooted. But Muslim rulers are bent on trading conscience for their economic gain. They have to get rid of this curse. On this occasion, the participants of the seminar strongly condemned the attacks of the usurping Zionist forces on the Al-Aqsa Mosque (Bait Al-Maqdis) and vowed not to remain silent as Muslims of Pakistan on the violence and brutality of the worshipers in this mosque.

Addressing the Al-Quds conference, Allama Baqir Zaidi said that Israel has become weak and the Palestinian resistance is defending Palestine against the usurping Zionist state. He said that the relations of the Arab world with Israel cannot protect the usurper Israel.

Addressing the Al-Quds Conference, Dr. Alia Imam said that relations with Israel meant rebellion against its leader Muhammad Ali Jinnah and negation of the ideology of Pakistan. He said that efforts to establish relations with Israel in Pakistan should be stopped at the government level.

Addressing the Al-Quds Conference, former members of the Sindh Assembly Mahfouz Yar Khan and Major (R) Qamar Abbas said that the struggle will continue until the liberation of Palestine and Al-Quds. Israel is an oppressive and illegitimate state.

Addressing the Al-Quds conference, Allama Nazer Taqvi said that Palestine is not a school or religion, it is a common problem of the Muslim Ummah and humanity. Israel is the illegitimate child of America and the West.

In his address to the conference, Yunus Boniri said that there is a nationwide protest against the recent Israeli aggression on Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Allama Aqeel Anjum said that Israel always harasses the fasting worshipers in Bait-ul-Maqdis, but soon this aggression of Israel will die by itself because the counter-attacks of Hezbollah and Hamas backfoot the aggressor Israel, which is considered as a sign of fear. It has been erected.

In his address to the conference, Mufti Firozuddin Rahmani said that the Muslim world should have a separate United Nations and a joint army.

Saqib Nowshahi, Asrar Abbasi, Arshad Naqvi, Allama Qazi Ahmad Noorani, Allama Mirza Yusuf Hussain, Sadiq Sheikh, Pirzada Azhar Hamdani, Mughan Singh, Jamshed Hussain, Muaz Nizami and others also addressed the conference, while journalists and lawyers also addressed the conference. Dr. Sadaf Mustafa, Dr. Fazli Hussain, Dr. Mudassar Hussain, Ikramullah, Hasan Ahmed, Madad Ali Sabri, Kashif Masani, Salman Ahmed, Qazi Zahid Hussain, Mufti Abdul Majeed, Mufti Junaid Bari and others were present in the community along with teachers.
