Fresh arrests in several areas of the West Bank

RAMALLAH, (The Palestine Information Centre) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a new arrest campaign in different areas of the West Bank, coinciding with settler attacks north of Jericho on Tuesday morning.

The IOF arrested three Palestinians after breaking into their homes in Al-Mughair village, east of Ramallah.

Two other Palestinians were detained in Bethlehem and Tulkarem.

Meanwhile, a group of settlers stormed Al-Awja town, north of Jericho, under military protection, and terrorized the local residents while drones were flown over the area to monitor the locals’ movements.

The IOF troops continued to force Palestinian merchants in Al-Awja to close their stores and seized surveillance cameras from one of the shops.
