GRC: Ben Gvir’s remarks reveal explicit intent to expel and eradicate Palestinians

GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Gaza Rights Center (GRC) has strongly denounced repeated incitement remarks by far-right Israeli security minister Itamar Ben Gvir, accusing him of openly advocating the forced displacement of Gaza’s population and policies amounting to genocide.

Ben Gvir reiterated his remarks over Gaza as Israel’s genocidal war on the territory has entered its 1,044th day since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 73,000 Palestinians dead and over 174,000 injured.

According to GRC, Ben Gvir called, in a recent podcast interview, for carrying out nightly airstrikes on Gaza, claiming Israel could eliminate each night 30 to 50 civilians he labeled as “terrorists,” while describing Gazans as “not human.” He also called for full occupation of the enclave and mass expulsion of its residents.

Ben Gvir’s incendiary remarks also targeted Lebanon, with GRC citing his call for “all of Lebanon to burn.”

GRC stressed that such remarks fit squarely within the international legal definitions of incitement to genocide.

GRC recalled the International Court of Justice’s 2024 ruling that found Israeli involvement in genocide in Gaza, urging the international community to act under the Genocide Convention by imposing sanctions on Israeli leaders and halting political and military support for Israel.

GRC called on the International Criminal Court to include Ben Gvir’s remarks in its ongoing investigation into war crimes in Palestine, highlighting that they provide clear evidence of intent behind Israel’s conduct in Gaza.
