Hamadeh: Israeli attacks against worshippers grave violation

GAZA, (The Palestine Information Centre)Muhammad Hamadeh, spokesman of Hamas for Occupied Jerusalem, has labeled the Israeli attacks against Muslim worshippers at Al-Aqsa Mosque’s Lions Gate as a grave violation.

In a press statement on Friday, Hamadeh said that such attacks constitute part of the religious war waged by the Israeli fascist government against Al-Aqsa Mosque.

“The Israeli occupation will pay heavy price for its repeated attacks against Muslim worshippers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque,” Hamadeh stressed, calling on the Palestinian people to mobilize at the Mosque to protect it against the Israeli desecration.

Earlier today, a number of Palestinian citizens were injured after Israeli police forces attacked worshipers at Aqsa Mosque’s Lions Gate in Occupied Jerusalem prior to Friday prayers.

Israeli police assaulted the worshipers while they were heading to the Aqsa Mosque to perform Friday prayers, according to local sources.
