Hamas accuses Israel of escalating Gaza attacks and violating ceasefire

GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem said the Israeli military is escalating its attacks against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip through continued bombardment and daily killings, describing Gaza’s streets as having become “killing stations.”

In a press statement issued on Wednesday, Qassem said the daily violations have become a standing Israeli policy, replacing the “Trump plan.” He accused mediators of failing to compel Israel to uphold the terms of the ceasefire agreement and criticized the “Board of Peace” for remaining silent in the face of the ongoing attacks, adding that such silence has encouraged Israel to continue its actions.

Qassem said the “ongoing massacre,” unfolding live before the international community and the Arab League, places political, moral, and legal responsibility on all parties to act to stop the continuing slaughter of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli military has continued to violate the ceasefire agreement that took effect on October 11, 2025.

According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, 1,084 Palestinians have been killed and 3,491 injured since the ceasefire began.

The ministry also said the overall death toll since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,110 killed, while 173,599 have been injured.
