Hamas accuses Israel of violating ceasefire and continuing attacks in Gaza

GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Hamas Movement said on Thursday that Israel has completely reneged on the ceasefire agreement and is attempting to impose a new reality in the Gaza Strip through military attacks and a blockade.

In a statement, the Movement said Israeli occupation forces continue their “brutal aggression” across Gaza, noting that the latest attacks killed at least five Palestinians and injured dozens more on Thursday, calling the incidents part of the ongoing genocide in the Strip.

Hamas renewed its call on the mediators and the countries guaranteeing the ceasefire agreement to fulfill their legal and political responsibilities by taking immediate action to stop what it described as the daily massacres against the Palestinian people and compel the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to abide by its commitments under the agreement.

The Movement also urged people around the world to intensify solidarity campaigns with the Palestinian people, increase pressure on Israel and its allies to end the “crime of the century,” impose a comprehensive boycott, and hold Israel accountable for its continued actions against Palestinians.

Earlier Thursday, five Palestinians were killed in renewed Israeli attacks targeting several areas across the Gaza Strip, as Israeli occupation forces continued to violate the ceasefire agreement.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the death toll since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, has risen to 1,127 Palestinians killed, along with 3,616 injured, while 800 bodies have also been recovered.

The ministry added that the overall toll since the start of the Israeli genocide on October 7, 2023, has reached 73,250 Palestinians killed while 173,727 have been injured, underscoring the devastating human cost of Israel’s ongoing military campaign in Gaza.
