Hamas: Ben Gvir’s prison raid exposes Israel’s fascism and moral decline

GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, confirmed that the storming by the extremist Israeli minister Itamar Ben Gvir into the cells of Palestinian female prisoners, turning their suffering into a show before cameras, embodies the level of fascism and political and moral degradation, and reveals the retaliatory terrorist mentality governing the behavior of Israel and its leaders.

The Movement said that what happened cannot be tolerated by the Palestinian people and their resistance, warning of the danger of continuing to convert the Israeli prisons into open arenas for violations, insult, threat, torture, and killing.

Hamas stressed that the exploitation by Israeli leaders of the suffering of male and female prisoners as cheap electoral propaganda material requires effective action at all levels to support the prisoners’ cause and end their suffering.

It pointed out that the inability of the international community, UN organizations, and human rights institutions to hold Israel accountable and prosecute its leaders encouraged the continuation of these violations and turning them into a daily practice, confirming that statements of concern and condemnation are not enough as long as Israel continues its crimes without accountability or deterrent punishment.

Hamas called on the Palestinian people, national and Islamic forces, human rights and media institutions, and free people of the world to raise the issue of male and female prisoners to the highest levels, expose the Israeli crimes against them, prosecute those responsible for them, and not allow normalization with their suffering or turning it into an accustomed reality.
