Hamas calls for serious European positions against Israeli war on Gaza

GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Hamas Movement has called on the European countries and the European Union to take practical and serious positions to prevent the Israeli occupation regime from persisting in its “criminal war” against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

In a statement on Monday, Hamas called for necessarily acting according to the decisions adopted by the International Court of Justice, which demanded Israel to stop its genocidal and ethnic cleansing practices in Gaza.

“The remarks made by leaders of European countries against the Zionist aggression in Rafah City are welcomed, but this does not absolve them of their responsibilities for preventing the criminal attack on Rafah, where there are one and a half million displaced Palestinians,” Hamas said.

The Movement condemned governments of some European countries for continuing to supply Israel with weapons to help it in its “war of extermination” in Gaza.
