GAZA(Palestine Foundation Information Center)The Hamas Movement has called on the International Criminal Court (ICC) to hold Israeli war criminals accountable for their crimes in Gaza and prevent them from escaping punishment.
“The failure of the International Criminal Court and its prosecutor Karim Khan to take serious and immediate action regarding what is happening in occupied Palestine, especially the clear-cut war crimes and genocide in the Gaza Strip, following 80 days of barbaric Zionist aggression puts question marks over its role in protecting humanity from the violations committed by war criminals,” Hamas said in a statement on Monday.
The Movement urged the court to overcome political pressures and shoulder its historical responsibility by holding Israeli officials accountable for the unmistakable massacres and atrocities in the Gaza Strip.
