DOHA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Senior Hamas official Mahmoud Mardawi has called for confronting the escalating demolition campaigns carried out by the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) across the West Bank and Jerusalem.
Mardawi stressed on Wednesday that the relentless Israeli demolition of Palestinian homes and structures is “part of the Israeli occupation’s displacement plans targeting the Palestinian people, which requires mobilizing all efforts to frustrate and thwart them and safeguard our land and property from ongoing destruction.”
Mardawi warned of Israeli intents to demolish Al-Rifa’iyya school near Yatta town, south of al-Khalil, which faces a pending demolition order, affirming that Israeli violations target every aspect of the Palestinian people’s presence on the land.
“Such Israeli crimes will fail to break the resolve of our people, and will only strengthen our adherence to our historical rights and our homeland,” the Hamas official underlined.
