GAZA(Palestine Foundation Information Center)Ezzat Al-Resheq, member of the Hamas political bureau, said that the “the cowardly assassinations that are carried out by the Zionist occupation against our people’s leaders and symbols inside and outside Palestine will not succeed in breaking our people’s will and steadfastness or undermining their valiant resistance.”
This came in response to the assassination of Hamas’s deputy head of its political bureau, Saleh al-Aruri, in an Israeli airstrike attack on Beirut.
He stressed that the assassination “demonstrates once again the enemy’s abject failure to achieve any of its goals in the Gaza Strip.”
On Tuesday evening, the Hamas Movement announced the assassination of Saleh al-Aruri and three of his companions in an attack that targeted a building in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
