CAIRO, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Hamas Movement said it held numerous meetings and consultations in Cairo with mediators and Palestinian factions regarding the implementation of the first phase of the Sharm el-Sheikh agreement.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Hamas added that its delegation had also engaged in discussions on the arrangements for the second phase of the agreement, while taking into account US president Donald Trump’s plan.
Hamas affirmed that its delegation, together with the Palestinian factions, had dealt responsibly and positively with the proposals, aiming to reach a mutually acceptable agreement.
The Movement reiterated its keenness on continuing its talks with mediators to overcome all obstacles, noting that it would submit its response to the proposals following consultations with its leaders and other factions.
