WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Hamas Movement has condemned the large-scale arrest campaign that was carried out by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) over recent hours in the occupied West Bank as “part of a policy aimed at suppressing Palestinians and forcibly displacing them.”
Hamas made the remarks after the Palestinian Prisoner Society reported today, Wednesday, that at least 45 Palestinians were arrested across the West Bank, including five women and two journalists. Among them is journalist Hazem Nasser, rearrested just two weeks after being released.
Hamas stressed that such Israeli measures “will neither weaken Palestinian resilience nor force them to abandon their rights or leave their land.”
The Movement urged the international community to uphold its responsibility to protect Palestinian detainees amid escalating Israeli violations and appalling detention conditions.
