GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, and its leader in Gaza, Khalil al Hayya, expressed their gratitude and appreciation to all who offered condolences for the martyrdom of his son, Azzam al Hayya, who was killed during Israel’s ongoing war of extermination against the Gaza Strip.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Movement said that Hamas’s leadership and al Hayya value the positions of “leaders, heads of governments and parliaments, ministers, ambassadors, public figures, scholars, and leaders of Palestinian factions,” along with political, party, religious, and popular delegations, and all who conveyed sympathy and solidarity.
The statement added that Azzam al Hayya “joined the souls of his martyred brothers Osama, Hamza, and Homam, along with tens of thousands of martyrs from the Palestinian people and their leaders,” within the framework of the Al Aqsa Flood battle and the Palestinian struggle.
The Movement noted that condolences, whether through attendance at mourning houses in Türkiye, Qatar, and Gaza, or through calls, messages, and social media, reflect “solidarity with Palestine, Gaza, and its steadfast people,” and support for the Palestinian resistance.
Hamas called for continued support of the Palestinian cause, escalation of confrontation with the “Zionist project,” expansion of boycott campaigns against Israel, and strengthening all forms of solidarity with the Palestinian people and their rights.
