GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Hamas Movement has condemned the Israeli occupation forces for maltreating and assaulting activists of the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) before releasing them, saying what happened to them was further evidence of “the scale of crimes and the moral degradation of the fascist Israeli entity.”
In a statement on Saturday, Hamas expressed its belief that what happened to GSF activists was a futile attempt to intimidate them and deter them from continuing their humanitarian mission in support of the besieged Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Hamas called on human rights groups worldwide to document Israel’s brutal violations against GSF activists, as a prelude to pursuing legal action at competent international courts.
The Movement stressed the need to hold Israeli leaders accountable for their crimes against GSF activists and ensure they do not escape punishment.
Hamas reiterated its pride in the activists for their determination to continue their humanitarian efforts to break the siege on Gaza, despite Israeli threats.
