GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Hamas Movement called on mediators on Thursday to pressure the Israeli occupation to halt its violations of the Gaza ceasefire.
The Hamas Movement said that the ongoing Israeli bombardment of several areas across the Gaza Strip, which has killed eight Palestinians, most of them children, within less than 24 hours, constitutes a serious criminal escalation and a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement.
Hamas said these actions aim to create chaos, evade the agreement’s obligations, and obstruct the transition to the second phase.
Hamas urged mediators and the countries guaranteeing the ceasefire to condemn these grave violations, which it said are being overseen by war criminal Netanyahu under flimsy and fabricated pretexts.
The Movement also called for exerting pressure on Israel to stop the violations and to comply with the terms of the agreement, including opening the Rafah crossing in both directions, allowing the entry of humanitarian aid and shelter materials, and immediately moving to the second phase.
Earlier on Thursday, nine Palestinians were killed in a series of Israeli breaches of the fragile ceasefire, including air and artillery strikes and gunfire from military vehicles in various parts of the besieged enclave.
