Health Ministry: Two killed, eight injured in Gaza in past 24 hours

GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Palestinian health ministry announced on Thursday that two Palestinians were killed and eight others injured over the past 24 hours as a result of ongoing Israeli military attacks in the Gaza Strip.

In a statement, the ministry said that since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, a total of 1,007 Palestinians have been killed, 3,165 injured, and 784 bodies recovered from previously inaccessible areas.

According to the ministry, the overall toll from Israel’s genocidal war since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,018 killed while 173,273 wounded.

The ministry added that a number of victims remain trapped beneath rubble and in areas inaccessible to rescue teams, as ambulance and civil defense crews continue to face difficulties reaching them.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces continued ceasefire violations across Gaza on Thursday morning through home demolitions and gunfire in several areas of the territory.

A local source reported that Israeli military vehicles opened fire east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza while carrying out a large-scale demolition operation in the same area.

In central Gaza, Israeli naval vessels fired toward the coast of Al-Zawayda.

Israeli forces have continued violating the ceasefire agreement through airstrikes, artillery shelling targeting areas sheltering displaced civilians, demolition operations inside the so-called “Yellow Line”, and ongoing restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid, and travel.
