Interfaith meeting in Peshawar focuses on Palestine and regional issues

Peshawar (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Secretary General of Palestine Foundation Pakistan, Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam, met with Bishop Alvin Samuel, Moderator Commissary of the Peshawar Diocese, Church of Pakistan, in a meeting held in Peshawar. Advocate Ghazanfar Kazmi and Syed Azhar Ali Shah were also present on the occasion.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the situation in Palestine and Lebanon, as well as tensions between Iran and the United States. The participants emphasized the promotion of peace, justice, and interfaith harmony.

A briefing was also given on the activities and humanitarian efforts of Palestine Foundation Pakistan.

Members of the Christian community also attended the meeting, including Reverend Shahzad Murad, Reverend Yousaf T.M. Azam, Reverend Aamir William, Mr. Mahmood Jan, and Mr. Yousaf Yaqoob.

The participants stressed the importance of global peace, dialogue, mutual respect, and collective efforts for stability.
