International Campaign for Palestinians’ Right of Return, Protest Demonstration held on Nakba Day in Karachi

Karachi ( Palestine Information Center) On the occasion of 75th anniversary of Nakba Day, Palestine Foundation Pakistan (PLF) hold a protest in front of the Karachi Press Club under the title of the global campaign for the return of the right of the Palestinian people.
The protest demonstration was led by former member of Sindh Assembly Mahfouz Yar Khan, while on this occasion Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam, Israr Abbasi, Yunus Boniri, Allama Baqir Zaidi, Saqib Nowshahi, Mufti Ferozeuddin Rahmani, Mufti Abdul Waheed Yunus, Muaz Nizami , Manoj Chauhan, Magan Singh, Arjun Singh, Mohtsham Thanvi, Bashir Saduzai, Qari Idris, Allama Mukhtar Imami, Allama Sadiq Jafri, Erum Butt, Khalida Iqbal, Allama Mubashir Hasan, Muhammad Ali Bukhari, Hussain Rahmani, Muhammad Akram, Nasir Hussaini accompanied him.
A large number of youths were also participated. Women and gentlemen from different walks of life participated in the protest.

The participants of the protest were holding the banners and placards in their hands, on which slogans were written under the title of the international campaign for the right of return of the Palestinians, while the qoutes of father of the nation Muhammad Ali Jinnah regarding the illegal establishment of the occupying Zionist state of Israel on Palestine, that Israel is an illegitimate state were displayed.
Addressing the protest, the speakers said that Palestine is the homeland of the Palestinians and the Zionist state of Israel established on the land of Palestine is an illegitimate and usurping state. Palestinians are the original citizens of Palestine those were forcibly deported from their homes and they are still living as refugees in the neighboring countries of Palestine with the third generation and demanding the right to return to their homeland. They said that the international community should give the Palestinians the right to return to Palestine for the provision of human rights so that they can decide the fate of Palestine themselves.
The speakers said that Israel is an illegitimate state which has been continuously killing the Palestinian people for the past seventy-five years and is creating the worst stories of cruelty and brutality on which the people of Pakistan will not remain silent.
They stressed on the unity of the Muslim Ummah and said that if the Arab states may be united, Palestine can be free in a few hours.

The speakers strongly condemned the continuous Zionist aggression on Gaza and appealed to the international community about the safety of human lives should be ensured in Gaza and strict action should be taken against the brutality of the usurping Zionist state of Israel.
On this occasion, the protesters shouted slogans of “Death to America and Israel is rejected” and also torched the British flag along with the American and Israeli flags
It should be noted that on May 15, 1948, the illegal establishment of the usurping Zionist state of Israel under British and American patronage was implemented on the Holy Land of the Prophets (peace be upon them), after which the Palestinian people always declared to celebrate this day as Nakba, (the day of catastrophe) which means destruction.
Even today, Palestinians around the world protest on this day for their rights and their homeland.
