JENIN, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) started on Wednesday morning to build a road between the villages of Tura and Umm Dar, west of Jenin.
Local residents warned that the road would cut off their access to nearby farmland and could pave the way for further settlement expansion.
In its report issued on October 15, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said that more than 40 percent of the West Bank land newly subjected to prior coordination requirements for Palestinian access during the olive harvest season is located in the governorate, where around 12 settler outposts were established over the previous year.
