IOA seizes around 200 dunums of Palestinian land in Jenin

WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), A report by the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission said that the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) appropriated nearly 200 dunums of Palestinian land in Jenin through 15 military orders, marking one of the largest land grabs in recent months.

In a statement on Tuesday evening, the Commission explained that 14 of the military orders were designated for building and expanding military roads, with a total length of 11,326 kilometers and covering 177,798 dunums.

Another military order, dubbed T/90/26, targeted 22,026 dunums of land in the town of al‑Yamun to establish a military site and construct an access road in the northern part of the governorate.

The Commission noted that most of the military orders fall in Area C, but some extend into Area A, including orders affecting the towns of Qabatiya, Mirka, al‑Jarba, and Arraba, highlighting the wide geographic scope of the land annexations.

The Commission warned that the 15 military orders in Jenin are designed to reshape military control and connect settlement sites with roads and security posts, laying infrastructure that entrenches settlement expansion as a lasting reality.
