WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Several areas across the occupied West Bank witnessed a series of Israeli military raids on Friday, including home searches and arrests, as Jewish settlers also stormed several Palestinian villages and towns.
Repeated raids in Nablus
In the Nablus governorate, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed the town of Beita, south of Nablus, and raided several Palestinian homes before returning to the town later.
The IOF also raided the village of Qaryut, south of Nablus, the al-Masaken al-Shaabiya neighborhood east of the city, and the area surrounding the Old Askar refugee camp.
During a raid near the village of Tell, southwest of Nablus, Israeli forces detained the head of the village council, council member Hazem Asida, and another local resident.
Meanwhile, Jewish settlers stormed the village of Awarta, southeast of Nablus, and performed Talmudic rituals at the al-Uzair shrine amid repeated settler incursions into the area.
Raids and arrests in Jenin, Qalqilya
In the Jenin governorate, IOF raided the Dabbat al-Ghanem area and the Khallat al-Souha neighborhood in Jenin city.
In Qalqilya, Israeli troops stormed the town of Immatin, east of the city, and raided several homes before arresting three Palestinians, including a father and son.
Raids in Aida Camp and Baqa al-Sharqiya
In Bethlehem, IOF raided Aida refugee camp, north of the city, amid heightened military activity in the area.
Israeli forces also stormed the town of Baqa al-Sharqiya, north of Tulkarem.
In the al-Khalil governorate, Israeli settlers raided a Palestinian home in the Khallat al-Hummus area.
Israeli raids, settler attacks escalate
The raids come amid continued Israeli military and settler escalation across the occupied West Bank, including home raids, arrests and repeated incursions into Palestinian towns, refugee camps and villages, alongside growing settler attacks against Palestinians and their property.
Israeli military operations and settler attacks have intensified across the West Bank, increasing pressure on Palestinian communities and fueling tensions throughout the occupied territory.
