NABLUS, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detonated the house of martyr Farouq Ramadan in the village of Tell, southwest of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, after forcing dozens of Palestinian families to evacuate nearby homes.
According to local sources, Israeli troops and military vehicles cordoned off the area surrounding the martyr’s three‑story house before deploying engineering units to plant explosives inside.
Israeli forces compelled residents of neighboring houses to evacuate and informed them not to return until they finish the demolition operation and withdraw from the area.
During the operation, soldiers turned several nearby houses into military posts and assaulted some local residents.
The measure was carried out under a military order authorizing the destruction of a house belonging to the family of martyr Farouq Ramadan, who was allegedly responsible for a shooting incident last July that killed two Israeli soldiers, including an officer, and wounded two others following an army-backed settler attack on the village of Tell.
