OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Various areas of the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem witnessed a series of raids and incursions overnight and at dawn on Friday, carried out by Israeli occupation forces (IOF), involving arrests and searches of civilian homes.
In al-Khalil Governorate, the IOF troops stormed the town of Surif, north of al-Khalil City, and conducted search operations in several neighborhoods.
In Qalqilya, the IOF raided the town of Hajja east of the governorate, coinciding with an incursion into the village of Kafr Abboush south of Tulkarem, where several homes were searched.
In Nablus, the IOF entered the town of Asira al-Shamaliya and fired sound grenades while raiding homes. They also stormed a house in the Krom Ashour area and arrested a young man, in addition to detaining two brothers during the same operation.
Early Friday morning, the Israeli forces arrested three residents from Nablus following a settler attack on the village of Jalud.
Local sources reported that an Israeli undercover unit entered the Old City of Nablus, followed by additional military vehicles coming through the al-Tur checkpoint. They raided a home, searched it, and arrested one person.
The sources added that Israeli forces stormed several neighborhoods in the city, raided homes in the Krom Ashour area, vandalized property, and arrested two brothers.
Earlier on Thursday evening, settlers attacked homes in the village of Jalud, south of Nablus.
Local sources said settlers targeted homes in the al-Dhahr area, leading to clashes after residents confronted them.
In Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate, Israeli forces stormed the village of al-Mughayyir northeast of Ramallah City, raided several homes, and arrested a young man.
They also entered the village of Qibya west of Ramallah and conducted search operations.
In Tulkarem, the IOF raided a home during an incursion into the village of Kafr Jamal west of the governorate.
In Occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces entered the towns of al-Ram and Hizma north of the holy city, carrying out raids and searches in several neighborhoods.
The incursions are part of an ongoing policy of field escalation across the West Bank, involving raids and arrests targeting various Palestinian cities and towns.
At the same time, widespread Palestinian calls have emerged to escalate confrontation and resistance against Israeli forces and settlers across the West Bank.
