GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continued violating the agreement ending the war and genocide in the Gaza Strip for the 309th consecutive day. The agreement was signed on October 10, 2025, in the Egyptian city of Sharm el-Sheikh under Arab and US mediation.
Several areas across the Gaza Strip came under heavy fire from Israeli military vehicles on Friday, while drones and reconnaissance aircraft flew at low altitudes.
Israeli artillery targeted an area south of the al-Bardawil neighborhood, south of al-Mawasi in Rafah, while Israeli military vehicles continued firing east of Gaza City, accompanied by artillery shelling in the same area.
The IOF continued to violate the ceasefire agreement through shelling and gunfire across various parts of the Gaza Strip, resulting in Palestinians being killed and injured.
On Thursday, two Palestinians were killed and others injured in Israeli airstrikes, as IOF troops renewed attacks across several areas of the Strip despite the ceasefire.
Gaza Governorate Police Chief Colonel Jamal Mahmoud Abu Kamil was killed Thursday evening in an Israeli airstrike targeting his vehicle on Al-Rashid Street, southwest of Gaza City.
The Ministry of Interior and National Security confirmed that Abu Kamil, 43, was killed when Israeli warplanes targeted his vehicle southwest of Gaza City.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, 1,260 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, while 4,154 others have been injured and the bodies of 808 victims have been recovered.
The overall death toll since the start of the Israeli genocidal offensive on Gaza on October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,389, with 174,266 people injured.
