WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) demolished at dawn Thursday the home of a Palestinian detainee accused of carrying out an attack on Israeli troops in the West Bank.
Local sources said that about 30 military vehicles and two bulldozers raided Bal’a town, in Tulkarem, and surrounded a house in the western neighborhood of the town.
The house belonged to Muhammad Talal Abu Yassin, who has been in Israeli custody since January of last year.
Israeli authorities regularly demolish the family homes of Palestinian detainees accused of carrying out anti-occupation operations, in what human rights groups say is a policy of “collective punishment” that may amount to war crimes.
