AL-KHALIL, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained 10 Palestinian teachers in Masafer Yatta and appropriated 20 camels in the Yatta pastoral region, south of al-Khalil in the West Bank, on Sunday.
Local sources reported that Israeli forces intercepted a vehicle carrying teachers on the Khillet al-Daba road as they were en route to Jinba School before detaining them and taking them to a nearby military outpost.
Israeli forces also seized a herd of 20 camels belonging to Nayef al-Atimin near the Umm Qassah area in the pastoral region of Yatta.
A local activist said that Israeli forces transferred the camels to one of their military bases, claiming they were grazing in an area designated as a “nature reserve.”
Meanwhile, a horde of extremist settlers surrounded a medical crew in Masafer Yatta, preventing them from reaching local communities, specifically Khirbet al-Majaz, to provide healthcare to residents.
